We began our recycling efforts by recycling the wood and other salvageable materials from movie sets and sending it to Mexico. Over the past several years, we started facilities to sort and recycle construction debris. We utilize Downtown Diversion, our award-winning facilities in downtown Los Angeles and the east San Fernando Valley, to produce a recycling rate of over 75%, as certified by the City of Los Angeles.

Homeowners/Contractors
Our per-bin rates include recycling of mixed construction and demolition debris at the 75% rate. For mixed inert material (concrete, asphalt, rocks, and dirt), we utilize recyclers (including Downtown Diversion), to produce a recycling rate of over 90% for these types of materials.

Municipal Ordinances
Many municipalities, such as Pasadena, La Canada/Flintridge, Santa Monica, Santa Clarita, and unincorporated L.A. County have enacted recycling ordinances for construction and demolition debris. Links to the web pages of these municipalities are listed here, and you may print these forms for use in your construction projects. Additionally, you may want to print out the following form for use in estimating the amount of construction and demolition debris to be generated by your project:
