Looney Bins was first established in 1989 as Spaccarelli Hauling, holding licenses in excavation, engineering, grading, and demolition . Owner Myan Spaccarelli saw the need for a Roll-Off company that would provide reliable and timely service to his customers. By expanding from Roll-Off to Front-Loader and Demolition Divisions and providing 24-hour service, LBI earned a reputation for its ability to customize service to a client’s needs. We have always focused on recycling and are excited about the new frontiers that address this aspect of waste handling. Looney Bins is committed to aligning itself with progressive customers with an equal commitment to the environment, and we have earned a number of awards. As further evidence of our commitment to recycling, Looney Bins developed two recycling facilities, called Downtown Diversion and Looney Bins/East Valley Diversion. Both of these facilities have recycling rates in excess of 75%. The Downtown Diversion facility was named 2006 Mixed C & D Recycling Facility of the Year by the Construction Materials Recycling Association. All of the mixed construction and demolition debris that is hauled by Looney Bins is disposed of at one of the Downtown Diversion facilities, thus assuring each customer of at least a 75% recycling rate.
					Mike Hammer, President Mike has both chemistry and law degrees from the University of Iowa , and was the driving force behind the success of Downtown Diversion. He is widely recognized locally and at the state level as an expert in recycling. He was given the additional responsibilities as president of Looney Bins in January of 2006.
					Myan Spaccarelli , Principal Owner Myan has used his entrepreneurial skills to create a growing, dynamic company that is widely recognized as one of the most progressive, environmentally-friendly companies in Southern California. He has used his experiences in the construction industry, coupled with the development of a skilled staff, to grow Looney Bins into a dynamic, progressive company that is dedicated to preserving our environment.
